A 1987 live recording from the Blue Note Tone Poet Series, capturing Michel Petrucciani's performance at the 1986 Montreux Jazz Festival in a trio format with Jim Hall (guitar) and Wayne Shorter (saxophone). The album features Petrucciani's original composition 'Morning Blues' alongside Duke Ellington's 'In a Sentimental Mood' and more, presented through inventive interplay between the three musicians.

This limited-edition audiophile vinyl reissue was produced by Joe Harley and mastered by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio directly from the original analog master tapes, pressed on 180g vinyl by Record Technology Incorporated (RTI). Released as part of Blue Note's 80th anniversary celebration.
